Rockville Maryland rents garden plots

I see Michigan had a similar idea back in 2009.

Taking vacant land an allowing affordable uses is smart. These industries and the government that are providing such opportunities feels good to my soul.

Clean and Green is another effort to make use of land started in 2003.

NorthRidge Church in Plymouth Michigan is working with DTE land to raise food for the Gleaners Food Bank.

I see San Jose, CA has similar efforts with Community Gardens.

This project is for 7 months a year. An inmate work program setup how the greenhouses were divided into plots for lottery winners to grow they gardens. It is great that there has been more green thinking.
