There is no need to take what the rich rightfully earn and accumulate. The poor are poor not because the rich are rich. There should be no equality of outcome, only a level playing field. That means equal access to the rental value of nature-given and community-generated resources -- physical as well as cultural and technological.

In other words, privileges need to be shared equally if life style is to change for both rich and poor.
